Founded in 2018 in Brockton, Massachusetts, Joseph LaForest Photography was built from a lifelong love of capturing real moments as they happen.
Joseph began as a nature photographer, developing a sharp eye for light, timing, and composition. In 2018, he expanded into portrait and event photography while working with The Bridge Center, where he discovered a natural ability to help even the most camera-shy individuals feel relaxed and confident in front of the lens.
Since then, Joseph has specialized in portraits, events, and behind-the-scenes photography. In 2022, he began working within the New England film community, providing BTS photography and professional headshots. His work has been featured in the 2023 and 2024 Boston 48 Hour Film Project and the 2024 Providence 48 Hour Film Project.
Joseph’s approach is simple: create a comfortable atmosphere, focus on authentic expressions, and deliver images that feel genuine — not staged. His goal is to preserve moments in a way that feels timeless and true to you.
